Herbal Carpet Freshener Recipe

You Will Need:

• 6 cups baking soda
• 3 cups Potpourri
• 1 cup cornstarch

Directions:

Mix well and store in an airtight plastic container. I find that a clean ice cream pail works great. Set aside for a couple days before using.

When ready to use, fill a shaker can or jar with the homemade carpet freshener. Sprinkle generously on carpet and let sit for one hour before vacuuming.

NOTEWhen storing your natural cleaning products, remember to label container. Keep any and all cleaning products out of reach of children.

Cleaning Tip #4

Remove soap buildup and odors from the dishwasher by pouring a cup of white distilled vinegar inside the empty machine and running it through a whole cycle. Do monthly.
