Natural Laundry Detergent Recipe

You Will Need:

• 1 ounce liquid castile soap
• 1 cup washing soda
• 1 cup baking soda
• 1 cup white vinegar

Directions:

Fill washer with water and add each ingredient in the order given.

Launder as usual.

This is great for doing laundry one load at a time. However, it may be more cost effective to mix up a large batch of laundry detergent and store in a recycled plastic container.

NOTE: When storing your natural cleaning products, remember to label container. Keep any and all cleaning products out of reach of children.

Cleaning Tip #5

Get rid of lime deposits in a tea kettle by adding 1/2 cup white distilled vinegar to the water and letting it sit overnight. If more drastic action is needed, boil full-strength white distilled vinegar in the kettle a few minutes, let cool and rinse with plain water.
